Our daily life in pictures:

1. - The kitchen. The sun enters through the widows during the afternoon. We lay on the floor to catch some light. The cats always get the best spots.
2. - Shizuka's gift: Hinamatsuri or the Doll's Day display in miniature (celebrated in Japan the 3rd of March).
3. - We have a geranium-like plant ... I don't know the name. It almost died  from lack of water (ups) but luckily we came to its rescue in time. As a tokken of appreciation it gave us these flowers.
4. - Last batch of wood birds for upcoming markets this summer.
5. - My favorite cookies, flavored with honey and cereal.
6. - Frida catching some sun and looking in an interesting fashion. Sleeping and eating are her passions.
7. - The artistic leak on the ceilling: it appeared one day after some heavy rain that literally fell onto the room when the neighbor's pipes broke. Great day that was!
8. - The new plant that lives in the balcony: it is tiny and very green. Frida is  crazy about it. I have to watch her so doesn't eat it whole.
9. - The new mandarinux theaters hung on the wall. To see more photos of them just click here and here.
10. - The new comic that accompanies us: The Malay Bear tearoom, by David Rubin. Highly recommendable.
11. - Our flowery wallpaper, very kitsch.
12. - The new mini-cactus. It lives with the rest of cactus and succulents in the balcony, to make them company.
13. - My favorite object: a fly-like-ashtray found by chance in a flee market in Lisbon.
