Totó

Ya que le hicimos un post a la gatuela, con totó no podíamos ser menos.

Es un gatuelo muy especial. Lo cierto es que no es precisamente un lumbreras, pero los que lo conocen saben que es suuuper tierno  :)

Since we made a post about Frida, we couldn't leave Toto behind. He's a very special cat. The truth is that he is not exactly bright, but those who know him know that he is suuuper sweet:)

Tiene dos años y medio y una historia truculenta detrás...mi hermana y una amiga se lo encontraron junto con sus tres hermanos recién nacidos en la basura. Eran como ratitas, con los ojos cerrados y llorando sin parar. Después de llevarlos al veterinário confeccionamos un plan de cuidado: biberones cada dos horas, caquitas controladas, manta eléctrica en la cesta (cuando son tan pequeños no regulan la temperatura, necesitan a su mami...o una fuente de calor en su defecto), suero...mi hermana y su amiga se vinieron a vivir a casa un mes para poder hacer los turnos de cuidado. A tope. Nos llevamos varios sustos, pero al final sobrevivieron los cuatro (una chica blanca y negra y tres machos naranjas) y se fueron a vivir a diferentes casas (con amigos de la familia y con Andrea, la colega de mi hermana). Con nosotros se quedó Totó, el más rarito. El más molón.

He is two and a half years old and has a gruesome story... my sister found him in the trash along with his three newborn brothers. They were like little mice: with their closed eyes and constantly crying. After taking them to the vet, we made them a care plan: milk every two hours, cleaning poops, electric blanket (when they are so small they cannot regulate their temperature, they need their Mommy ... or a heat source in the absence), serum ... my sister and a friend came to live with us for a whole month to take care of them by shifts. Full on!! We were afraid most of the time, but ultimately, the four of them survived (a black and white female and three orange males). All went to different houses (family and friends). Toto stayed with us, the most peculiar we'd say: The coolest!!

 

COSAS QUE LE GUSTAN A TOTÓ:

- Jugar: a todas horas, sin fin!!!!!es muy nerviosete, necesita correr, acechar (peluches claro), trepar, morder, arañar...todo lo que se mueve!

- Las mantas: es su vicio secreto. Las amasa durante minutos y minutos sobre el sofá mientras ronronea...una cosa un poco rara...solo diremos que le llamamos, cariñosamente, "el violador de mantitas".

- El agua: cuando cambiamos los bebederos mira fijamente el cuenco, como buscando algo  ¿?

- La ducha: cuando salimos de la ducha nos persigue para olernos. Debe de gustarle el olor a agua...

 
THINGS TOTO LIKES:

- Play: all the time, endlessly!! Very nervous, he needs to run, stalk (stuffed animals, of course), climb, bite, scratch ... everything that moves!

- Blankets: it is his secret addiction. He kneads them for a long time the while purring ... this is a little weird ... we call him, with love: "the blanket rapist."

- Water: when we change his drinking water he stares at the bowl, as if searching for something. We still don't know why he does this...

- The shower: when we finish showering he chases us to smell us. He must like the smell of water ...

COSAS QUE TOTÓ ODIA:

- Que lo toquen cuando no quiere

- El aspirador: panico total. Cuando se enciende desaparece, y sólo con verlo ya se pone tenso. Es un poco delicado.

- Ruidos fuertes y personas extrañas en su territorio (es decir, TODO EL MUNDO MENOS CUATRO O CINCO SERES HUMANOS).

- La cocina: el misterioso espacio que hay detrás de la lavadora. No se acerca allí jamás!!!solo él sabe el porqué...

THINGS TOTO HATES:

- Be touched when he doesn't want to

- The vacuum cleaner: total panic!!!!!! When he sees it he runs away. Just by looking at the thing he gets nervous.

- Loud noises and strangers in their territory (ie EVERYONE IN THE WORLD EXCEPT FOR FOUR OR FIVE HUMAN BEINGS).

- Kitchen: the mysterious space behind the washer. He doesn't come even close! Only he knows why ...
