Hemos hecho una edición limitada de pajaritos de madera para colgar en la pared. Hay 28, todos ellos pintados a mano y diferentes entre sí. Y dos de ellos van directos al concurso de La Fireta ¡si quieres ponertelos en la pared de tu casa pásate por aquí y participa!

Miguel es una fiera: tenía miedo de que le salieran mal porque el formato era más grande, pero han quedado preciosos. Estamos tan contentos del resultado que nos da pena separarnos de ellos. A veces nos ocurre con algunas cosas que hacemos, ponemos tanto esfuerzo e ilusión que una vez terminadas queremos ponerlas directamente en nuestra casa. Pero una vez alzan el vuelo y aterrizan en la vida de otra persona, descubres que es mucho más alegre su destino que quedarse con nosotros sin ver mundo.

We've made a limited edition of wood birds to use as decoration for your walls. There are 28 of them, all completely handmade and unique. Two of them will go to the Fireta's raffle. If you want to have one of these flying at your house, you only need to pass by La Fireta and win the draw!

Miguel is working hard: he was afraid these birds didn't turn out well because they have a bigger format than the normal birds we make. However, they turned out lovely. We are so pleased with the result that it's a pity we have to let them go. Sometimes it happens with some things we do, we put so much effort and enthusiasm that once it is finished we want them for ourselves. But it's very cool to know they can see the world when they fly off and land in someone else's life.

Teatro de papel: Luciérnagas

En lo más profundo del bosque hay una oscuridad total. Sólo se filtra la luz de la Luna y únicamente se escuchan los pasos del Rey del Bosque, un ciervo centenario que pasea por los prados nocturnos. De pronto un crujido las sobresalta: cientos de luciérnagas alzan el vuelo para sorpresa y disfrute del Rey, el único espectador del breve momento.

 

In the deepes forest there is total darkness. Only the moonlight is filtered thought the branches and you can hear the King of the Forest's footsteps. It is a centenary deer wandering in the deep woods. Suddenly, a crunch of leaves scared them: hundreds of fireflies scatter in the air and surprise the King. He is the only spectator of this brief moment.

 

 

 

El papel en la red

Como trabajamos con papel, nos gusta curiosear por internet y descubrir las posibilidades que ofrece este material a través del trabajo de otras personas. 

Os enlazamos un par de cosas: KNOT Magazine, una preciosísima revista con mil ideas y los NaniBird, unos pajaritos diseñados por diferentes artistas que puedes descargarte, imprimir y montar gratuitamente para decorar tu casa.

                 

We like working with paper. So we ended up browsing the internet to discover different projects that other people present. 

I put some links of a few new things: KNOY Magazine (with a thousand precious ideas) and NaniBird (little birds designed by different artists which you can download, print and assemble freely to decorate your home).

 

Pintando pajaritos de madera

 

 

 

Ya estamos pintando los pajaritos de madera para La Fireta. Uno a uno y de forma totalmente artesanal, estamos haciendo nuevos diseños. Todavía nos faltan muchos por colorear, pero nos hacía ilusión enseñaros el proceso.

No los hemos barnizado, pero cuando los terminemos os contaremos que tal han quedado y os mostraremos imágenes de otros modelos de broches y colgantes.

We're painting the wooden birds for La Fireta. One by one we are making some new handmade designs. We still have a lot of work to do, but we wanted to show you the first steps of the process.

They are not varnished yet... but when we finish them we will post some pictures of them. Ah! we are also working on some new brooches and necklaces.
