Foticos con rollo!

No somos modernos ni ná, pero hemos decubierto Instagram y nos encanta.

Programita para el móvil que te permite hacer foticos molonas y funciona como un foro (ver, comentar, compartir... en modelos iphone y android).

Mola porque puedes hacer fotos en el momento, ponerle filtros y potenciar tu creatividad a la vez que ves las fotos que sube la gente. ¡Hay auténticos artistas por ahí!

We are not modern at all...but we've found out Instagram and we love it!!! This is a piece of software that allows you to take some nice pictures with your mobile and is also a forum (see, document, share, etc...in iphone and android)

It's nice because you can upload your photos instantly, apply some masks...and also be creative. At the same time you see other people's stuff. There are really some artsits out there!

Los botones de mi madre 2

El otro días estuvimos las dos pilis (mi madre, también conocido como "La Santa", y yo) echando unas fotillos al resto de la colección de botones antiguos. Como ya os contamos aquí, desde hace unos meses mi familia es propietaria de un tesorillo (bueno al menos para nosotros, gente raruca): unos cuantos modelos de botones de madera de los años 30. ¡Casi ná!

 

 

My mother and I were like Chip and Dale the other day... "The Saint", as Miguel calls her, helped me taking some pictures of the rest of the collection of old wooden buttons. Some early photos and the story of how these buttons ended up in my mother's hands can be found here...to make a long story short, my family owns a little treasure consisting of a few wooden buttons of the 1930's of which we are in love with... ;)

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mis botones favoritos son los de esquiadores, por eso de tener una parte que deja ver la tela trasera y, sobre todo, por los pantalones-polanias para la nieve: la bomba. Sin embargo, he de reconocer que las mascaritas son muy graciosas... aunque a mí me parece que tienen un punto inquietante. Ya ves, paranoias.

My favorite buttons are the skiers. They have that opening that allows you to see the fabric behind them...and, above all, what about the 1920's design of pants?? They are the bomb!

I have to admit the masks are funny, but they are also a bit disturbing...crazy!

El erizo es un animal esquivo y misterioso. A pesar de tener mucho caracter, la mayoria de nosotros pensamos en él como un mamífero adorable, tranquilo y algo miedoso. No aparece mucho por ahí, así que hemos decidido darle protagonismo.

 

 

 

 

 

  

The hedgehog is an elusive and mysterious animal. Despite having a lot of character, most of us think of it as a lovely, quiet and somewhat shy mammal. Since it is not very famous, we decided to give it some relevance.

 

 

 

 

Como véis, estamos haciendo pruebas para sacar una nueva colección de broches con motivo de la llegada de la primavera con colores más claros y presencia de la madera en los fondos. Estos animalicos con pinchos miden 4 x 5 cm. aproximadamente.

 

 

 

 

 

As you can see, we are doing some trials to come up with a new pin collection for Spring. They have soft colors and we want the wood to show. These animals are about 4 x 5 cm.

 Totó intenta cazar moscas mientras Frida lo mira con expresión resignada...el pobre no es muy buen depredador

Toto tries to catch a big fly, while Frida looks at him...poor Toto, he is not such a good hunter.

 

El sueño ideal de Totó: un ratón vivo!!!! cuando duerme hace movimientos temblorosos, como si persiguiera presas (que tieeeerno...). Miguel al verlo dormir ha dibujado su presa imaginaria 

Toto's ideal dream: a living mouse!!!! when he sleeps he makes running movements and shakes as if he was hunting (veeery sweet). Miguel saw him sleeping and drew his imaginay prey

¡ Primavera !

Ya estamos en una estación nueva. Con una nueva imagen.

Es primavera, tiempo de crecimiento y expansión... y una de las mejores temporadas del año. Esta estación ofrece colores, olores, sabores y sensaciones realmente asombrosas. 

Si hubiera que hacer una selección tal vez destacaríamos el olor a hierba mojada, a la flor de jazmin de madrugada, la luz a las ocho de la tarde, el color verde de las pequeñas plantas, el canto de los pajaros a mediodía, cuando el ritmo de la ciudad es más lento, esa sensación entre relajada y tensa de las horas nocturnas...la lista es infinita.

Dentro de poco tendremos la tienda montada (esta vez de verdad, ja,ja  :) y os enseñaremos los nuevos broches que estamos haciendo.

Para celebrar la llegada del sol, os colgamos un video inspirador de Yosemite HD. ¡Para recordar que vivimos en un planeta flipante!

We enter spring with a new image...

Spring is a time of growth and expansion ... and one of the best seasons of the year. It offers colors, perfumes, flavours and extraordinary feelings.

It is unique the smell of wet grass, the flavour of the jasmine's flower at dawn, the dimming light at eight o'clock, the small green plants, the birds at noon, when the rhythm of the city is slower. The feeling between relaxed and tense night hours ... the list could be eternal.

Soon we will have the shop ready (this time for real... ha ha :) and we will show some of the new clips we're doing.
 
To celebrate the coming sun, we've hung an inspiring video of Yosemite HD. Just to remind oneself we live in an amazing planet!

 

 

 

 

Además ayer fuimos al huerto de mi familia a coger las últimas naranjas, para despedirnos aqui tenéis foticos de las flores que están saliendo.
