Yeah! la Nueva Mansión de los Gatos ya está aquí!

Después de cajas, trastos, contratos de agua, luz, gas, internete...¡por fin estamos instalados en la Nueva Mansión de los Gatos!¡ Bieeeen! 

Es un piso antiguo, como nos molan a nosotros (techos altos, suelo hidráulico, puertas estrechas y altas, contraventanas...) y aunque tenga sus cosillas estamos más a gusto que un arbusto.

Aquí tenéis algunas imagenes frescas de la casa:

 

After boxing a million stuff, changing the water, light, gas and internet bills...we are finally settled in our new Mansion of the Cats!Yeeeyy!!!

It is an old apartment, just the kind we like (high ceiling, hydraulic floor, narrow and tall doors, windows with old shutters...), and even though it has its things...we are really in love with it!

 Lo cierto es que la casa nos ha quedado un poco... de película de Almodóvar, ja,ja,jaaaa!!! pero estamos super ilusionados: empezamos una nueva etapa! 

Casi todos los trastos de la casa han sido recogidos de la calle y restaurados por nosotros, incluida la decoración (excepto platos, cama y otros detalles que aun no sabemos hacer, iji)

Honestly, the house ended up a bit like a...Almodovar's film eh eh eeehhhh...but we are very happy about it: we start a new stage of our lives!

Almost everything in our new house has been recovered from the trash and restored by us. We also created most of the decoration (apart from dishes, bed and some other details we don't know how to make ihihih)!!

Los papeles de origami de Shizuka :)

¡Miguel ha estado un mes en París y ha vuelto con un montón de cosas preciosas! no son muy francesas, pero es que la casa donde se ha alojado pertenece a una pareja nipona. Con lo que nos gustan las cosillas del Japón, hemos decidido dedicar este post a los papeles que Shizuka nos ha regalado. Son tan bonitos que os los ponemos todos para que elijáis los que más os gusten.

¡Mil gracias desde Valencia por este regalo!

Miguel was in Paris for one month and brought back lots of lovely things! they are not exactly french stuff, but he stayed in with a japanese couple that made him really nice gifts. We decided to dedicate this post to a set of origami paper that Shizuka (and Léo) offered him. They are so beautiful that we have included them all so you can choose the ones you like the most.

Nos mudamos!!!!

Oooooohhhh... ¡que pena! dentro de un par de días nos mudamos a otra Mansión de los Gatos. Estamos super liados con cajas, trastos, cosas que tirar, cosas que regalar...¡¡¡menos mal que la nueva casa es preciosa!!!! os enseñaremos fotos cuando estemos acomodados :)

Las mudanzas son terribles, esto no es ningún secreto. A pesar de que estamos acumulando cajas, salen cacharros y ropa de sitios inesperados y, lo que en principio iba a ser cosa de unos días, parece ser que se va a alargar...¡¡¡¡aaaaggghhhh!!!!

Menos mal que el cambio es evolución. Últimamente nuestra vida está siendo... cómo lo diría... un poco intensa. Desde hace unos meses los cambios se están sucediendo uno tras otro. Sin embargo, estamos convencidos de que una nueva ubicación nos traerá impulso y buenas vibras a tope. ¡¡¡¡Bieeeeeennn!!!!

En plan homenaje posteamos unas fotos de nuestro hogar, fábrica de teatrillos y broches.

PD: ¡casi se me olvida!HEMOS RECIBIDO NUESTRO PRIMER ENCARGO!!! una chica noruega nos ha pedido una cajita con osos polares. ¡La verdad es que está quedando genial!

Oooooohhhh ... what a pity...within a couple of days we will have to move to another "Palace of the Cats". We are very busy with boxes, all the stuff we have to throw away, or give away ... luckily the new house is very nice...we will upload some picture of it when we're there :)

The changes are terrible, it's not a secret. While we are gathering boxes, new stuff comes out of unexpected places and what seemed to be a matter of days appears endless ... aaaaggghhhh!!

Fortunately, the change is evolution. Lately our life has been ... how shall we say ... a little intense. For several months lots of challenges defy us one after the other. However, we are convinced that a new location will bring momentum and good vibes too!!
As a tribute we post some pictures of our ex-home, factory of the mandarinux theaters and clips.

PS: we almost forgot!! WE HAVE RECEIVED OUR FIRST ORDER! a Norwegian girl asked us for a light black box with polar bears.

Teatro de papel: Palomas en los cables

Las palomas hacen de las ciudades su hogar permanente. Renunciaron hace tiempo de los ciclos migratorios, eligieron cables y cornisas, tejados y aleros. Observadoras constantes, vigilan los movimientos de los habitantes y los paseos de los gatos callejeros,  sus eternos y peligrosos enemigos.

Pigeons have made the cities their permanent home. They gave up the long migratory cycles, and have prefered wires, ledges and roofs. They are constant observers, watching the people's movements and stray cats-their eternal and dangerous enemies.

Éste es el último teatro de tejados y gatuelos por ahora. Como los anteriores está hecho dentro de una cajita de cartón reciclado encargada aquí. ¡¡¡¡Los hemos recortado con mucho amorrrr!!!!

Las medidas son 13 x 9 x 5 cm (alto x ancho x profundo).

This our last theather of rooftops and cats, for now. It is made in a recycled cardboard box bought here. Always with love!

Ayyyy! como Frida está siempre con nosotros cuando trabajamos, no podemos evitar ponerla con este nuevo teatrillo casi tan guapo como ella. 

Ayyy! since Frida is always with us when we work, we cannot help including her in this theather, which is almost as pretty as her.
